Fire and Ice

Saturday, December 7th

A new concert experience at the Manluk Theatre!

Fire and Ice! It’s about coming together as a community, socializing, and listening to enchanting music, turning the winter chill into a soul-warming evening.

The world class Chamber Ensemble orchestra will explore the classics in the heat of passion and the chill of love lost – surrounded by candlelight. This group features Hsing Jou and Saida Leclercq on the violin, Tenkai Luong on the viola, Laura White on the cello, Heidi Kelm on the piano, and Tyson Brown on percussion. They will be playing amongst others, selections from Vivaldi, Debussy, Bach, and Mozart.

The Ensemble will be joined by favourite local artists including trio Dean and Megan Pezderic with Becky Moonen, as well as soloists Angela Ganley, Jane Gusdal and Ken Mastel. We expect they will all team up for an uplifting finale!

Tickets are available at manluktheatre.ca or Dalcon Visual Arts at 4940-50 Street in Wetaskiwin.

Inquiries: Call the box office 780-352-8383 or email manluktheatre@telus.net

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
