Fiddles on the Prairies

Saturday, April 11th

The Prairie Mountain Fiddlers’ annual Spring concert features music and song about how fiddle music came to the Canadian prairie provinces. The musical set list reflects the many cultures that shaped the fiddle’s repertoire – Scottish, Irish, Quebecois, Metis and more. Fiddling has been kept alive in Alberta thanks to many talented musicians. The concert will be held at the Bert Church Live Theatre, 1010 East Lake Boulevard, Airdrie, AB.
