Esperanza

If death is not the end, can we make our goodbyes have the same joy of a first hello?

Inspired by Mexican culture, Esperanza is a story about hope, love and remembrance.

Join 10 year old Esperanza in the land of the dead as she navigates through the complex journey of grief, in a world full of mask and shadow puppetry.

In this collective creation we embrace the beauty of death and remind ourselves that the dead can also miss the living.

Co-Directors: Iván Guevara García & Mariza Iturbe-Becerril

Two shows, running Wednesday, March 18 at 9 p.m., and Thursday, March 17 at 9 p.m.
