Experience Alberta artists at the Encore Art Sale April 14 & 15, 2023

With so much talent under one roof, it’s the perfect place to find your new favorite piece of art! The art sale features hand crafted fibre arts, pottery, paintings, metal works and more from some of Alberta’s finest artisans. Enjoy live music as you take in the amazing talent Alberta has to offer!

2pm – Featured Artist Talk/Demo

6pm to 8pm – Sip, Savour & Shop – Enjoy tasty bites and sips with a creative twist while shopping for the perfect piece to add to your collection, or the start of a new collection!

6:00pm to 7:30pm – Paint Off – Watch as 3 of our artists paint off against each other, proceeds for the sale of these pieces will support the Lacombe Arts Endowment Fund!

Our feature artist for 2023 is Margret Blank, an accomplished fiber artist from Central Alberta whose works have been featured in several exhibitions in Canada.  In January 2021, Marg was selected with other Alberta-based artists to participate in “Art from the Unknown”, an online showcase of Alberta Artists.

Marg works with various threads, fibers, fabrics and paints to create stunning dimensional works of art.  Previously she created a three-dimensional installation titled Mark On the Body, which was created to show the harshness of living with Type 1 Diabetes. Marg has participated in many of our arts events, and her work introduces our audience to another art form they may not be familiar with.
