Elena Erin

Saturday, May 17th

Since her first independent releases in 2018, Elena Erin has amassed millions of streams, climbed to #2 on CBC Top 20 with “Build a Ship”, landed on major editorial playlists, and released her debut album “Holy Tender Artist” in 2022. Her sound is characterized by a blend of pop, electronic, and folk elements, and her introspective lyrics are noted by listeners for their authenticity and powerful personal experiences.

Elena is now touring her brand new album “Roaring 20’s”; a captivating concept album set in the revitalized Gatsby-ish 20’s. The album follows the journey of a young girl arriving in New York City, where she swiftly rises to the heights of the social scene and her dreams. However, she soon discovers that the glittering reality is all empty inside, and her search for meaning compels her to deconstruct her entire journey, exploring themes of ambition, love, disillusionment, and resilience.

Elena Erin’s album “Roaring 20s” releases in March 2025, with tours throughout Canada, USA, and Europe in March-June 2025.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
