This concert features Northern Alberta Concerto Competition winners alongside the Intermediate and Senior Edmonton Youth Orchestras, commemorates the 50th anniversary of the EYO’s first tour – to Lausanne, Switzerland for the International Festival of Youth Orchestras (Dvorak’s New World Symphony being a part of the 1972 tour program) and launches celebrations for the EYO’s 70th anniversary.
