Edmonton Poetry Festival

Edmonton Poetry Festival returns this April for National Poetry Month with bold new collaborations and city-wide activations. For its 21st year, the festival will transform Edmonton into a vibrant hub of language, music, and community. From LRT stations to art galleries, performance stages to unexpected public spaces, the month-long festival invites audiences to experience poetry in new ways.

With in-person and virtual open mics, poetry-music fusion performances, and workshops, there is something for everyone. The Edmonton Poetry Festival celebrates poetry in all its forms, and welcomes everyone to share in the energy, entertainment, and joy of poetry.
