Shared Water, Shared Crisis

Thursday, June 19th

Join the Royal Alberta Museum for a screening of Shared Water, Shared Crisis, the final installment in The Shared Waters of the Salish Sea documentary trilogy. This film examines the complex relationship between humans and orcas, emphasizing the importance of scientific research conducted in natural marine environments.

Following the screening, we are honoured to welcome David Dick of the QENTOL, YEN / W̱SÁNEĆ Marine Guardians Program, whose work is featured in the documentary. He will offer brief remarks and participate in a post-screening discussion.

If you are interested in attending, tickets are $21 and available through the Royal Alberta Museum website. Admission includes access to all museum galleries, including our current feature exhibition, Orcas: Our Shared Future.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
