Melanie Monsour, composer/pianist, known for her expressive and dynamic elegance, will perform a contemporary blend of styles, including many of her own compositions and music of Gjurdjieff /deHartmann.

She has been accompanying for Gurdjieff Sacred Movements since 1994 and has performed the Gurdjieff concert repertoire and her own compositions throughout North America and around the world, including Taiwan, Chile, Australia, Russia, South Korea, Egypt, and Greece. Melanie has released seven CD’s, one of the music of Gurdjieff/deHartmann, five of her solo piano work and one in collaboration with a Canadian group which combines Gurdjieff movements and the study of the Enneagram. Monsour continues to study by exploration, the ordering and execution of notes and the effect of those choices on the listener and the environment.
