Chamber Orchestra of Edmonton is proud to feature Hilda Cowie, principal double bass of ESO, in a concert of charm, brilliance, and colour — from the sunlit sparkle of Wolf’s Italian Serenade to Bottesini’s virtuosic Allegro di Concerto alla Mendelssohn. Local composer Grella-Możejko’s Totentanz brings a bold, modern edge, while Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite No. 2 wraps the afternoon in timeless elegance.
