Food Bank Booster Concert Series 2025 with our new friends at Glendale/Glendale Meadows Community Association

Thrilled to collaborate with the Glendale Communities for November 30th Live in the Community Food Bank Booster Concert featuring Calgary ensemble Crooked Path

We are so happy to welcome Crooked Path, a 5-piece ensemble delivering three- and four-part harmonies that blend bluegrass, roots, swing, and old-time music. Great sound and fun.

Crooked Path is a Calgary-based acoustic roots & bluegrass group celebrated for their soaring harmonies, banjo & fiddle fire, and heartfelt Alberta storytelling. Whether it’s a bluegrass classic, a soulful ballad, or an original tune, Crooked Path creates music that feels like home.
The Rocky Mountain Listening Room praised them for blending “sweet harmonies with virtuosic instrumentals” and Stagehand describes their sound as ‘a refreshing list of contemporary songs & instrumentals with wonderful harmonies & tasteful instrumentation’

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
