Corb Lund Acoustic Trio

Wednesday, November 6th

Experience the raw authenticity of Alberta’s Corb Lund and his acoustic trio! Hailing from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Lund embodies the spirit of a long line of ranchers and rodeo people. Seamlessly weaving between outlaw country, Western, and indie-folk, the Canadian singer-songwriter brings an honest curiosity and rowdy devotion.

Raised with a DIY sentiment, Lund epitomizes the mantra ‘if you want something done, do it yourself.’ From recording in his basement to booking his own tours, he’s been his own manager and publicist, demonstrating unparalleled dedication to his craft.

Having toured with indie-metal band The Smalls before diving into Western songwriting, Lund’s journey has been as eclectic as his music. With multiple award nominations and wins under his belt, including a 2022 Canadian Country Music Award, and a debut at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this year, Lund continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Don’t miss the chance to witness Lund’s latest creations from his 2024 album ‘El Viejo’ live on stage. Join us for an unforgettable evening of soul-stirring melodies and genuine storytelling.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
