Concert of Renaissance Dance Music

Sunday, September 8th

The Borealis Renaissance Consort will be presenting a concert of Renaissance Dance Music at Ritchie Community League Sunday September 8, 2024.

The ensemble will play a series of dance tunes from the 15th through early 17th century from Italy, France, the Netherlands, and England followed after a brief intermission by solo and duet performances on lute and harp and closing with two English Country dance performances accompanied by the the consort.

The program will be followed by a brief (no alcohol) reception. The consort plays in historic costume for an added sense of the period. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.; the concert and reception will run from 3 to 5 p.m. Admission by donation.
