Cocktails and Jerk Festival

Friday, September 6th - Saturday, September 7th

The Cocktails ‘n Jerk Festival is an annual family-friendly celebration that brings the vibrant flavours, rhythms, and traditions of the Caribbean to the heart of Edmonton. Since its inception in 2021, the festival has rapidly become a must-attend summer event for those eager to experience the rich cultural tapestry of the Caribbean, without leaving Canada. Set against the backdrop of Edmonton’s dynamic urban landscape, the Cocktails ‘n Jerk Festival offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the authentic sounds of reggae, dancehall, and soca music. As the pulsating beats fill the air, festival-goers can savor the mouth-watering taste of jerk chicken, indulge in exotic cocktails, and explore a variety of other Caribbean delicacies that promise to transport your taste buds straight to the islands.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we’d love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
