Special Anniversary Event; the perfect time to invite someone new for a sampling of Chronos!

Chronos Vocal Ensemble invites you to join us for a family-friendly, afternoon concert drawing from the choir’s ten years of choral excellence. With deep ties throughout Edmonton’s choral community, Chronos presents a varied program of music for unaccompanied voices. This includes new works by Edmonton and Canadian composers featured on the ensemble’s four albums, along with traditional choral repertoire; highlights from programs enjoyed by our audiences over the last decade. Hosted by CKUA’s Orest Soltykovich (who recently named our latest album Resolve as his pick of the year!), Chronos presents a free concert in gratitude for all the support received from Edmonton’s community of choral music lovers. Expect a bit of the sublime, a bit of fun, and plenty of great music!

This performance is free of charge, and will run a little over an hour. Children are welcome.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
