Chorus & Reverberations

Sunday, April 27th

Cosmopolitan Music Society (MCS) presents: Chorus & Reverberations

Travel with the choir, under Jamie Burns, as they explore music from around the world featuring Oscar Galián’s Salseo, Art Maddox’s Kumquatrain Express, Andrew Balfour’s Ambe, and a collection of songs from Liverpool’s Fab 4, The Beatles! The Reverberations, under the baton of Tammy-Jo Mortensen will “Go the Distance” (from Hercules), perhaps into “Pan’s Forest” or maybe we’ll take a train ride (Chatanooga Choo Choo), or a ship (Pirates of the Caribbean) or maybe we’ll just relax in nature (Introspection), by former Edmonton composer John Hooper and celebrate spring (Now the Green Blade Rises and also All Creatures of Our God and King).

Tickets: $20 general / $12 student available through Showpass

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
