Cheryl Fisher Plays The Music of Peggy Lee

Saturday, November 11th

Cheryl Fisher’s live performances continue to receive glowing reviews for their originality, emotional depth and outstanding technical excellence.
The Toronto Star has called her music “sophisticated, “…with an “effortless air and subtle emotional control.”
The Washington Post describes her as “one of Canada’s best kept secrets getting harder to contain.”
Downbeat portrays her as a “bona fide jazz singer.” Her recordings and performances feature the cream of the North American Jazz scene including such luminaries as Tommy Banks, P.J. Perry, Terry Clarke, Neil Swainson, Reg Schwager, Dan Brubeck, Amos Garrett, Richie Cole, Sir Roland Hanna, Scott Hamilton, Eddie Higgins, John Stowell, and Randy Porter to name a few.
Cheryl’s previous CD, “Moments Like This”, pairs her with two genuine jazz legends: Five-time Grammy Award nominee Ira Sullivan and the Canadian Juno award-winning pianist Oliver Jones.
