Carrie Day

Friday, March 6th

Join Edmonton-based singer-songwriter Carrie Day and musical guests for a special evening celebrating the release of her new album, Tethered & Restless.

Known for her warm stage presence, honest storytelling and love for humour, Carrie invites listeners into an intimate, reflective, deeply human (and at times, hilarious) musical experience.

The evening will feature two sets:

A full band performance of album songs and some old favourites, followed by an intimate songwriter-in-the-round with special guest songwriters.

Featuring:
Presley Hynes (percussion)
Ron Dazo (electric guitar)
Andreas Wegner (upright bass)

Songwriter-in-the-Round with:
Clare McNaul
Rob Heath

All ages. Wheelchair accessible.

Whether you’re a longtime listener or discovering her music for the first time, this evening offers space to listen, reflect, and connect. Don’t miss this special evening celebrating the release of Tethered & Restless.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
