Carl Mayotte Quintet

Winner of the Radio-Canada Jazz Revelation title for 2020- 2021, Carl Mayotte is a virtuoso bassist and one of the most prominent jazz musicians in Quebec and Canada today. A graduate of McGill University’s jazz performance program, his versatility has earned recognition from critics and musicians alike, including from jazz legend Alain Caron and Bass Magazine.

In this performance, Mayotte leads his quintet in a show that showcases his technical brilliance and deep musicality, bringing forward an exciting mix of original compositions and jazz standards. With his mastery of the bass and the intricate, dynamic interplay between his quintet members, Mayotte’s performance will surely captivate and inspire.
