Cara Lianne McLeod

With a deeply personal approach to her artistry, vocalist Cara Lianne McLeod is thrilled to return to Fort McMurray to share some of her favourite music and musings about love. Working closely with Neville Bowman (piano, vocals, and arrangements), this show will feature jazz standards like “Beautiful Love”, duets like “You Don’t Know Me” and “I Won’t Dance”, and original releases such as “This Love”, and a nod to her more classical side.
After calling Fort McMurray home for 18 years, Cara moved back to her hometown of Edmonton in 2017. Since then, from intimate backyard performances to concert hall stages and jazz clubs, Cara has captivated audiences with her joyous and meaningful approach to music. Her current discography includes five original songs. “Serendipity”, “The Dream”, and “My Love” were co-written with Fort McMurray writer Karen Larkin, and “Do You Really See Me?” was co-written and produced with Michael Hanson (6x Juno award-winner and co-founder of Glass Tiger). She also curates and hosts In & Out of Love, a radio show exploring love and relationships, which streams worldwide on Big E Radio.
Neville’s career is a testament to versatility. Starting as a pipe organist and heavy metal aficionado, his journey spans jazz, funk, symphonic works, and musical theatre, from New York, to the vibrant scenes of Tokyo, and across Canada. His multi-faceted expertise has made him a sought-after pianist, vocalist, producer and performer.
Rounding out the trio will be Fort McMurray’s own Bill McCrone on bass.
This is guaranteed to be a night full of artistry, connection and of course…love! Limited seating is available…get your ticket on Eventbrite!
