Cara Lianne McLeod

Saturday, March 7th

From intimate backyard performances to concert hall stages, Cara has captivated audiences with her disarmingly joyous and meaningful approach to music. Since beginning her radio show In & Out of Love on Big E Radio, she’s become even more enamoured with the concept of love in all its iterations.

Working closely with Neville Bowman (piano, vocals, and arrangements), the show will feature jazz standards like “Where or When” and “Beautiful Love”, duets like “You Don’t Know Me”, and original releases such as “This Love” & “Do You Really See Me?”

Neville’s career is a testament to versatility. Starting as a pipe organist and heavy metal aficionado, his journey spans jazz, funk, symphonic works, and musical theatre, from New York, to the vibrant scenes of Tokyo, and across Canada. His multi-faceted expertise has made him a sought-after pianist, vocalist, producer and performer.

Rounding out the band will be Paul Johnston on bass, Kevin Brereton on drums, Dana Anderson on the saxophone, and a guest appearance by Cara’s friend and colleague, Edmonton’s Joel Gray on the trumpet!

After a sold-out show in 2025, you won’t want to wait to get your ticket for this show…it’s guaranteed to be a night full of artistry, connection and of course… love!

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
