Calgary Tabletop Day

Friday, November 17th - Sunday, November 19th

November 17-19, 2023 at the BMO Centre. Tabletop YYC’s 3 day family-friendly convention for board game enthusiasts.

What should I expect at a board game convention?

-expect to have access to some of the most popular new games
-expect to have fun going with the flow. Join a table looking for players and set up a game you want to play and invite players.
-you can request help from the hosts to learn a new game
-it is family friendly, kids of all ages can play board games and are welcome to play.
-there will be door prizes, tournaments, contests, and a marketplace to buy/sell games
-try some of the hot new games that are difficult to find
-compete in gaming tournaments
-find really cool stuff to buy from the marketplace
-try games you never considered
-try games before you buy them
-test your game design with new people
-meet other gamers with similar interests
-play longer games which can be difficult to get to the table at evening meetups
-if you are a casual gamer and sometimes feel overwhelmed about what to try next; a gaming retreat is the perfect place to try a wide variety of games in a short amount of time with people happy to teach and help find those hidden gems you may want to add to your collection.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
