Monday, July 28th - Sunday, August 3rd

The 21st Annual Calgary International Blues Festival will run July 28 to August 3rd in a variety of downtown settings. The week kicks off with a series of free concerts, workshops and special events (Monday through Wednesday), with 4 days and nights (Thursday through Sunday) at our new location at the historic parklands known as The Confluence, at 750 9 Ave SE.

The Twilight Blues Series will move this year to the Ironwood Stage, where it will run nightly from 10pm to 1am once Mainstage closes.
Calgary Bluesfest is a volunteer driven, family friendly event that features world class blues music, local food trucks, a colourful artisans area, a tented beer service area with a site wide liquor license, festival souvenirs, and artist merch and autographs.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
