Calgary Folk Music Festival

There are many types of people at the Calgary Folk Music Festival.

“Tarpies,” stake their four by six claim with a tarp or blanket.

“Wanderers” arrive when they want to see who they want. Whether you’re camped out for Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, or dancing on the grass to Valerie June, all are welcome. Because the tarps are optional, but the good times are not.
