Bok Brass

Sunday, October 27th
New Music Edmonton is delighted to present Bok Brass in their first full performance at a New Music Edmonton event. Celebrating their 10th anniversary this season, Bok Brass is an extraordinary collective of brass players. The program features a great variety for all age groups to enjoy. At the core will be the results of our recent Edmonton Arts Council-funded creative mentorship: brand new works by emerging composer mentee Ben Whittier, and the mentor, renowned Edmonton composer, Emilie Cecilia Le Bel.
These world premieres will be complemented by a dazzling set of works by Edmonton composers Betty Ling, Mari Alice Conrad, and Scott Smallwood. This event is partially supported by a Connections and Exchanges grant from the Edmonton Arts Council
Tickets $25/$20 at eventbrite.ca and at the door.
