20 Live Songs – Over 300 Projections – One Unforgettable Story

“…An amazing insight into one of the greatest bands of all time. I was blown away…” – Ronnie Brown, Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts

Becoming the Beatles: Unplugged is a captivating live musical documentary, blending over 300 projections, 20 live songs, and intimate stories to unveil the journey of the legendary band. Led by Yale-educated musician and storyteller Haley Marie, the show delves into the Beatles’ rise to fame, their musical evolution, and the personal struggles of each member. It transcends mere tribute, offering profound insights into the band’s origins, their resilience against rejections, and the cultural influences that shaped their iconic sound. From wartime hardships to triumphs on the global stage, experience the untold tales of the Fab Four’s extraordinary legacy in this transformative theatrical experience.

Created by Haley Marie, a touring musician who holds a Master’s of Music from Yale University. She is a three-time Carnegie Hall performer and music historian. She brings this Unplugged version to the stage with a captivating, acoustic duo.

Directed by Mary-Lu Zahalan, the world’s first graduate in the Beatles Master’s Program (Liverpool).

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
