Backyard Betties

As Gravity’s Artist of the Month, Backyard Betties will host a concert on March 28 at Gravity Cafe Inglewood. Tickets are available by emailing Nancy directly nancywriteon@gmail.com.

The Backyard Betties are a Calgary-based folk/Americana band led by award-winning songwriter Nancy Laberge, alongside Pip Hazell, Alexandra Danicic, and Mark Cassano. Known for rich harmonies, driving rhythm, and expressive guitar and fiddle, they deliver sharp-witted, deeply human songs of love, life, and loss. 2024 YYC Music Award Winners for Folk Recording of the Year – The High. Their shows are full of laughter, reflection, and moments where you catch yourself thinking, yeah… I’ve been there too.
