Angelo Moore & Vic Ruggiero & Simon Chardiet & Jory Kinjo

Friday, February 7th - Saturday, February 8th

Known for their roles in iconic bands and music scenes, these four musical trailblazers will join forces to create an unparalleled performance experience. The lineup features:

A highly respected singer, songwriter, and keyboardist in the ska and reggae scenes, Ruggiero has recorded with such acts as Rancid & The Stubborn All-Stars and is a prominent figure in the NYC music scene.
• Simon Chardiet (N.Y.C) – A renowned New York guitarist whose work spans jazz, rock, and experimental music, brings his virtuosic improvisation and signature sound to the stage. Chardiet has performed and recorded with Bo Diddley, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and the Cro-Mags.
• Jory Kinjo (YYC) – Calgary bassist and vocalist known for fronting local acts, Mocking Shadows, Kinjo & Young and Jory Kinjo & the Relays has also shared the stage with B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Ziggy Marley, the Wailers and ZZ Top.

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
