Anatomy of a Fall

This thriller/legal drama follows a German writer, who lives in the French Alps with her husband and their young son. When her husband, Samuel, is found dead in the snow, Sandra is the prime suspect. The investigation and ensuing court case is covered in this taut, suspenseful and thrilling film!

Anatomy of a Fall won the Palme d’Or at Cannes–the highest award given.

Other awards include:

Golden Globes for Best Screenplay – Motion Picture; Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language

Critics Choice Award for Best Foreign Language Film

It has five nominations for an Oscar for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Original Screenplay and Best Film Editing.

The movie is a favourite of many reviewers and is currently not playing in many Albertan theatres. This is your chance to see what all the excitement is about:
