A Sincere Tribute to the Tragically Hip

The Chris Tauchner Trio feat. Chris Tauchner (Piano), Jeff Sulima (Drums) and Jeff Gammon (Bass)

Chris Tauchner is a Montreal-born pianist, composer, and educator with over 25 years of experience across North America, specializing in jazz, blues, soul, and funk music. A graduate of Concordia and McGill Universities, he has performed at major festivals around the world, including the Montreal International Jazz Festival, and collaborated with artists like Oliver Jones and Ranee Lee.

Chris has long been a disciple of a great song, and like Brad Mehldau with the music of Radiohead (and others), Chris has harnessed the beauty of The Tragically Hip and their brilliant songs, to produce a deep and explorative tribute to Canada’s most memorable and beloved band.

Featuring Jeff Sulima on Drums and Jeff Gammon on bass, this is a trio that will mezmerize audiences with its soul, love for strong melodies and dedication to the Ultimate band in Canadian music history.
