Stampede City Sessions is a TV Series, featuring the live music of passionate musicians from a wide variety of genres. Live shows are staged in the beautiful Webber Academy Performing Arts Centre Theatre, offering live music fans an intimate performance with artists on the rise.
For the artists, it provides a platform to play a full-length concert, and have a one-hour music special that will now air on PBS affiliate KSPS TV in Spokane who service the NW United States and Western Canada. Stampede City Sessions also airs on East Tennessee PBS and WKNO Memphis PBS with a total potential reach of 3.3 million households. The Episodes air just before Austin City Limits on Saturday evenings on KSPS and just after ACL on East TN PBS.
Calgary based powerhouse Canadian trio Jade Elephant featuring Mitchell Brady on guitar/vocals, Kyle Tenove on bass, and Taylor Miles on drums is about to pull you out of your chair and transport you to an era when rock reigned supreme. Her music career began in a small suburban town of Sydney Australia and since then has taken her on an incredible journey throughout the globe. Combining slide guitar, soulful vocals and a heartfelt approach to songwriting, Kara’s truly unique sound will leave you uplifted, inspired and always wanting more.In the US Kara has performed at several Festivals such as ‘The Portland Waterfront Blues Festival’, ‘Blues from the Top’ in Colorado and “Austin City Limits”.
She has also opened the show for many extraordinary acts such as Peter Frampton, Buddy Guy,Taj Mahal and Jonny Lang, to name a few.
