2026 Oscar® Nominated Short Films

The Edmonton International Film Festival (EIFF)’s annual Oscar® Nominated Short Films Fundraiser returns to Edmonton’s Metro Cinema (8712 109 Street) for three nights only: March 8th, 11th, and 13th, 2026. This is a unique local opportunity to view all of the nominated short animation, documentary, and live-action films ahead of the 98th Academy Awards airing Sunday, March 15.

These screenings, and the funds they raise, are vital to EIFF and its commitment to sharing the best cinema from here and around the world at the Edmonton International Film Festival – returning for its 40th edition September 24 – October 3, 2026.
