CKUA Volunteers Needed!
CKUA Radio is nearing its 100th anniversary celebration in 2027, and we’re working hard to expand our reach and find new avenues of support. As a registered charity with minimal government funding, CKUA depends on donors and corporate sponsors to stay on the air. Taking our successful 50/50 Raffle to KDays is a very exciting development for CKUA.
We’re recruiting volunteers to sell tickets across the grounds at KDays in shifts from July 18 to 27 at the EXPO Centre & Exhibition Grounds. Volunteers must be 16 years old or accompanied by an adult guardian. We are especially keen to recruit volunteers for the evening shifts when crowds are busiest.

Sign up with friends and family or show up solo and make new friends! This is also a great chance for university and college students to build your resume and connect with other local music fans.
Your home base will be near the CKUA Radio Stage, which will feature fantastic live music in the evenings throughout KDays. Shift times are 10:30am-1:30pm, 1pm-4pm, 3:30pm to 7pm, and 6:30pm to 9:30pm. You’ll be well supported, fed, and hydrated while you show your love for CKUA in true summer style.

During the 10 days of KDays, the CKUA Radio Stage will feature performances by Kyle McKearney, Shakura S’Aida, The Denim Daddies, The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer, plus many more.
