Rocky Road

Athabasca University professor David Gregory and CKUA producer Brian Dunsmore are back with the third installment of their history of popular music. The creators of CKUA's popular RAGTIME TO ROLLING STONES series present a new set of programs profiling the development of popular music in Western culture from 1960 to 1980. THE ROCKY ROAD is a co-production of CKUA and Athabasca University and is broadcast in support of courses offered by Athabasca
University. The program has two companion series: THE LONG WEEKEND, popular music between the two World Wars, and FROM BOP TO ROCK, covering the era from the Second World War to 1960.

THE ROCKY ROAD ... Thursdays from 3:00-4:00am.
