This week’s Mixtape – originally broadcast in December of last year – comes to us courtesy of Hawksley Workman. Singer and songwriter. Broadcaster. Drummer. Well, multi-instrumentalist but most importantly, drummer. Poet. Playwright. Producer. Author. He’s a six-time JUNO Nominee – two time JUNO winner. And he’s a strong believer in community and the creative spirit. Not only that, He’s One Cool Guy.

In December of 2016, Hawksley Workman took a break from his sold-out series Almost a Full Moon: A Special Christmas Cabaret of Story and Song at Edmonton’s Citadel Theatre to drop by CKUA for a visit with Grant Stovel and a performance of “A House, or Maybe a Boat”, with Mr. Lonely on piano (which you can see above.)

Tune in Wednesday evening at 7 MT as we re-visit Hawksley Workman’s Mixtape.
