Listener contributions account for two thirds of CKUA's annual
operating budget – a significant source of funds that allows CKUA
to continue its work in bringing fresh, engaging, and entertaining
music to the ears of its listeners.

Monthly Giving
Monthly giving provides an easy way to support CKUA! By donating
monthly you decide how much you can afford to donate each month,
it is 100% up to you! Our Fund Development Office takes care of
the rest. It is our ultimate goal to have 11,000 monthly subscribers
by the end of 2011 to help us sustain not only the main operation
of CKUA, but assist with upgrades and repairs, new programming,
streamlining of operations and much more. Monthly giving allows
for better budgeting on our part which means that your donation
will go further.

Donate an Hour of Programming
Donated hours make terrific birthday, Christmas, anniversary,
or special gifts for friends, family or even yourself! An hour
of programming is a great opportunity to show your support of
quality radio and honour your loved ones with a unique gift that
you can be sure they don't already have. Treat someone you love,
yourself included, to an hour of programming on CKUA!
You can also donate an hour of programming in memory of a loved
one who has passed as a thoughtful way to share their memory with
others and help them continue to contribute to a world of music.

Employer Matching Gift Programs
Many employers will match your contribution to
CKUA. In all cases, you, the donor, needs to inquire with your
Human Resources Department to determine whether they offer the
benefit of a matching gift or payroll deduction program.

CKUA Endowment
Are you interested in ensuring that the music plays well into
the future? CKUA has created an endowment fund that, once mature,
will allow us to draw resources as they are needed. By supporting
the endowment with gifts you will help CKUA plan for the future.
Consider a gift to the endowment as a unique way to recognize
anniversaries and other special events for your friends and family
members.
Endowment gifts help stabilize funding for CKUA because they
are invested, not part of the daily operating funds. A percentage
of the investment income may be used annually to fund new and
current initiatives while the balance of the investment income
is rolled over to protect the fund against inflation. This is
the real gift of endowment: with this balanced approach, over
a single lifetime, an investment of $50,000 today could result
in future annual support for CKUA of over $900,000! Your gift
keeps on giving, and growing well into the future.
